Business Development Manager

Location : Noida,   Experience : Min 3-5 yrs with digital agencies

Job Description

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams for user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Ensure the sales team follows best practices with sales forecasting, planning, and revenue tracking. Identify and lead improvements in processes
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales, marketing, and publisher organization’s planning efforts. Partner with Sales leadership to develop internal controls ensuring the integrity of business processes and sales data
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, in the forecasting and budgeting process, to ensure transparency and cross-functional alignment on the revenue pieces of the Nexstar Digital team.
  • Oversee CRM instance and all actionable reporting & insights from marketing to billing
  • Identify sales, marketing or publisher dev patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations
  • Assess market data, including competitors, to identify areas where Nexstar Digital can increase its efforts
  • Present reports to company leadership and drives agenda for sales operation review meetings
  • Assist with the design and development of CRM reporting dashboards; establish templates and processes for regularly sharing out CRM progress and results with key stakeholders
  • Oversee demand generation marketing systems (email marketing DB, email tool, website) and lead generation vendors.
  • Serve as the clients primary point of contact for the program meeting and exceeding client expectations is priority
  • Conduct constant agency education
  • Identify potential new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships to maintain outstanding customer satisfaction and retention

Special Requirements –

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales role, preferably with experience from media agency or publisher managing a brands digital advertising strategy and buying activities
  • Good understanding of the media landscape in India, the major players and an ability to quickly learn and ramp up on new online media solutions
  • Confident and willing to take the client interfacing role
  • Good interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ambitious, self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision; excited to take the chance to work well in Startup business environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint; user experience with CRM tools or reporting dashboards will be a plus
  • Candidate with network of clients such as beauty / fashion / gourmet / travel / lifestyle will be a definite advantage.
